Indian Shot (Canna indica)
Cannas are leafy perennials with an upright habit growing 1 to 2 metres tall. The large green or purple-bronze leaves sheath the stem. Narrow flowers are red or orange, usually yellow below and the plant produces green, spiny fruits which enclose the black shot-like seeds.
